Today is a fascinating day for those of us that keep an eye on politics. My view on Brexit is pretty obvious to anyone who follows me what my views on the topic are. Today, in Westminster, Tory MP’s triggered a vote of no confidence in the Prime Minister. When the dust settles, as it always does, business will go on.

Yet what should businesses be doing? After all, politics is important at one level, but on a daily basis our politics are a sort of sideshow to the work that we all do. Big decisions like Brexit will obviously affect us all so we need to plan. Planning when the detail isn’t clear is harder, but it is not impossible.

Are you planning for Brexit? Have you made plans yet, or concluded that you’ll just wait? If you have planned what have recent events meant for those plans?

To guide your thinking, here’s an article to which I recently commented, and which includes advice from a number of experienced and skilled business people.
